Love is in the air
Posted on October 23rd, 2004Janna and Brent got married today, and I was lucky enough to have gone to their ceremony! It was at Community Fellowship, which was sorta interesting in its own right: I already thought that the building was odd for a church but to have a wedding in it made it even more strange.. Anyhow, it was a really cool ceremony and I was really happy to have been a part of it. I can’t wait until my camera charges so I can take a peek at the pictures and video that I took! Congratulations to them!! ๐
During the ceremony, though, I sorta wondered to myself about when I will be up there in Brent’s shoes… I always assumed that I’d get married when I’m around 25 or so (give or take a couple of years), but I suppose that would involve me having a girlfriend first, wouldn’t it? By no means am I going to rush myself into meeting this unwritten deadline that I’ve set for myself, though I wonder if something will happen during these days at university…

I’ve been thinking the same thing about the girlfriends. I’m hoping that I’ll meet the right girl during my undergrad…but I guess that I’ll have to wait for God’s timing.
Sooner is better, though ๐

Heya Rodney,
It’s almost annoying when I think about it, mainly because it’s something for which I should not be looking; if I actively look for someone, chances are that it’ll be a whole lot easier to make myself think that the one I find is right. Not to say that she won’t be, but there’d be an inherent bias that shouldn’t be there. Oh boys are so dumb ;(

P.S. Sooner is better.
