New album today!! And I got it!! Woohooo!

Well, it’s less sweet because I heard the songs before, but having a copy of it in my hands now is VERY exciting! Oh happy day*! I also picked up the first single (Vertigo), and I cannot wait to get those songs playing! Catch you later..

Well, this is it. Beyond all reason, and beyond all explanation, the Internal Administration Committee refused to allow the Embassy Students’ Association to fully function as a club. Despite meeting their requirements (and, in many cases, exceeding them), they still stood their ground and denied us. The consequence: no more Embassy on Monday nights.

Am I outraged? Yep. Bitter? You bet. Confused? Sure am. I don’t want to drop the d-word on here, but it sure feels like we’ve been unfairly targeted… time, and time again. But the line must be drawn, and it has. We will bend no further, and we will not cave. We are stronger than that, and we will do whatever it takes to defend ourselves and repair as much of the damage that they have inflicted. The games are over.

Oh, sleep.. where have you been? Not with me 🙁

I have (still) been a busy bee, doing this and that seemingly everywhere. With meetings, events, and commitments galore, it’s not wonder that I don’t sleep much anymore! But that’s ok, because I really enjoy what I’ve been doing instead.

Just a little update regarding my last post: I still have not decided on which Sunday service that I’d like to attend… I really do love the people and the style at Elevation, but I feel compelled to maximize my exposure to new content. Only God knows where I will end up, but I’ll keep posting my thoughts and decisions here.

And just a few other random points in no particular order:

• Chapel is going very well. The turnout remains consistent, and I think that the time and effort being poured in is getting appreciated!! 🙂
• A couple of ESA events tomorrow: Krispy Kreme donut giveaway from 11:30am to 1:30pm, and movies (Shrek 2 and The Day After Tomorrow) at 7:00pm. Check them out around the SLC!
• Work is absolutely awesome! I had a really good midterm review, and I’m excited about the large projects that I’ve been assigned… it’s crazy stuff, and I’m learning so much! I wonder if I should try and go back for a third term…
• I’ve been playing piano more regularly with some encouragement (you know who you are!) and, while frustrating, I think it’s a step in the right direction if I ever want to pick it up again (and I do).
• My life is feeling much more complete recently.
• Dogs are awesome. I want one. Or two.
