Poor Kitty
Posted on July 9th, 2005On my bike home tonight, I passed by a poor kitty who didn’t quite make it across the street. In fact, it was the second cat that I have seen in that manner on this street since moving here. I hope that it wasn’t somebody’s dear pet (although I am assuming that it was) 🙁 While I am not a big fan of cats (being allergic to them is not good for business), I must say that seeing that was pretty upsetting.
That incident, not surprisingly, also made me think of Kat. She’s off at camp right now, and it’s been a while since I’ve heard from her. I really hope that she’s doing well up there. Fall term will be fun fun fun!

Last weekend at home, I passed by THREE dead raccoons on the way to church, which is a 7-minute drive. It was kind of saddening.
Incidentally, I’ve killed two squirrels while driving, and the instances were a year apart (to the day) and were on the same stretch of road. Weird, eh?
