Wardrobe Malfunction
Posted on July 18th, 2005Now before you start thinking that I pulled a Janet Jackson and exposed myself on national television before millions of viewers, let me tell you now that this is not the case.
What is the case, however, is that I have made note of two observations:
1. The vast majority of my clothes are black.
2. Black is not good for summer.
As a consequence of these, I have noticed that I have been wearing my non-black clothes much more frequently. Even more, I think that I like these colourful clothes more than my other ones (with certain exceptions, of course). Stink!
Why is this bad? Well, given a tight financial situation and a particular sense of style, I think that it will be very difficult to make significant changes to my wardrobe any time soon
So while it’d be nice to finally have some more vibrant clothing, I can’t! Bah.

Yes, you definitely do have a lot of black clothes! I hadn’t noticed it, but now that you mention it you are wearing very little black this spring. However, I had noticed that you’re not wearing your Catterpillars very much (most likely due to heat + awkwardness biking?).
Throughout high school, my wardrobe was very limited (monochromatic blue, black, or green T-shirts with no logos), although I have branched out since starting uni. I guess there comes a time when you get tired of the same old-same old and subconsciously start wearing new clothes.
Alright, my break is over. Back to my OS!

I’m not surprised at your predominantly black wardrobe since you are such a big Pumpkins fan
Interestingly, I used to have a lot of black in my wardrobe too until I realized that creamy colours went much better with my skin tone.
BTW, your TypeKey thing doesn’t work. The TypeKey site says it you don’t support it or something

Rodney:
It’s a couple of things about the shoes, and heat is definitely one of them. The other is that, generally speaking, dress shoes don’t really work well with casual shorts
I think that I’ve hit one of those times
Tony:
Now now, I do have some colourful Pumpkins shirts
And since we’re on this topic, I think that band shirts are going to have to come to a stop!
About the TypeKey thing, I suspect that it has something to do with changing everything over to ASP.NET… I’ll have to look into it. Thanks for letting me know!

Fixed, I think!
