Grey Skies

It seems like the weather isn’t looking too nice for the next few days: rain, rain, rain, more rain, and a bit more rain. Today was pretty glum, too. Lethargic grey skies abounded with stormy pockets here and there. Sounds a bit like my mood, too.

I overslept and, consequently, felt overtired. After taking the weekend off from schoolwork, a rather unpleasant amount is waiting for me this week. Readings, assignments, tests, and interviews (over-)fill my plate and I can’t seem to get started on it.

Instead, I stayed in bed. I wasn’t doing anything in particular; I was just laying there and listening to the bruised laments of Billy Corgan. Jasmine was right, to a certain degree, when she called the Pumpkins emo. Their lyrics are emo, but the style is not emo at all.

Today was my stats test. It was worth 5% of my final mark. I studied for about 20 minutes. Tomorrow is my calc exam. It’s worth 15%. Using my awesome math skills, that means I should study 60 minutes for it. Heh, we’ll see about that. I’m such a lazy/cocky little kid.

Anyhow, all of this homework isn’t going to do itself. The first step to getting started on it is getting off of this. Ciao.
