Opportunities Abound

I should be sleeping, but I’ve been bogged down with some employment-related duties. And, while getting through them, I realized how plentiful opportunities are. And not just in terms of a job, but in every facet of my life.

Jobs: It seems that some great options may open up outside of co-op. In addition to three interviews on Tuesday (I found out that I got another one just recently), I am in the process of exploring alternatives to which I have been referred by friends. While stressful, it’s all also very exciting. I’m anxious to see what happens!

Travelling: Going to BC this Christmas to go snowboarding. Maybe somewhere interesting next term for Co-op. Maybe Africa in September. Oh my, my brain hurts from thinking about it!

Faith: So much truth to be found in other religions. No, I don’t plan on converting or anything, but I know that there can be so much inspiration outside of Christian circles (or even the particular circles within Christianity that I’m currently found. Denominations? Bah to that!). I think that I’ve been becoming less hesitant to take a peek or two 🙂

Literature: I’m thinking about picking up another book, now that I’ve finally finished The Last Word and the Word After That. I have no idea where to start. Well, I have some idea: I don’t want to have to buy it 😉

Other: I think my eyes are opening to a whole whack of other things in my life that are just waiting to blossom. I’m cautiously excited 🙂
