Victory is Mine!

I’m DONE!!! Waaaaaahoooo! My Actuarial Science prof (whose exam I finished today) told me that I should “declare victory and have a beer.” So, I shall indeed declare victory right now, and will follow suit with a beer later on tonight.

Unfortunately, I don’t expect that I got 100% on this last exam. Which is a crying shame, since I studied all of 3 hours for it. Oh, how the reality of decreasing motivation over time stings.

But, I’m at a point where I couldn’t care less. In fact, the only thing that I care about right at this moment is bringing my stomach to satiation; I haven’t eaten since this morning, but I will be at the Mongolian Grill at 6pm. There shall be a great victory there, too! 😀

For now, I’m just killing time. I finished at 3pm, but I didn’t think that it was worthwhile to go home and come back again. So I’ve tied up some loose ends on campus, said some byes, and read. I now find myself sitting in a computer lab emailing like a fiend and catching up on some business that I’ve left until now.

Update: I just got an email from DE Shaw, an investment firm in New York. Apparently they want my resume. Victory again! Not that I mind (I mean, I’d be an idiot to be annoyed with having a lot of job prospects for September), but I can’t help but wonder how people keep finding me…
