End of the Line

Posted on August 11th, 2006

Welp, this is it. I have my last exam tomorrow morning and, at last, I will be free!! What awaits me after this exam will also be time-consuming, but without so much of the stress and brain-cramping that has been my reality for the past two weeks or so.

Actually, while I’m on this topic, I should say that this exam period has been surprisingly unfocused, but that’s not a bad thing. I’ve spent a great deal of time not studying (e.g. partying at John’s last weekend, going to dim sum last weekend, hanging out with Kat last weekend, bbqing like crazy, going out for drinks tonight…), but I’ve been doing well on my exams (I think). Maybe my brain is more relaxed and I’m not overwhelmed with stress. I think this tactic had something to do with better marks starting the term I decided to leave Software Engineering, too. Well, woohoo!

After Sunday, things are gonna look weird:

– I will no longer have an address in Waterloo (after 3 uninterrupted years!)
– I will no longer be volunteering on Monday Nights
– I will no longer be available on MSN 24/7
– I will no longer have access to my desktop
– I will no longer be in possession of a guitar
– I will be going crazy, planning my move to New York
– I will be going crazy, saying bye to friends for four months
– I will be going crazy, cleaning up my room in Toronto
– I will be going crazy, going crazy!!

But, first thing’s first: I can’t wait until tomorrow at 11:30am!!!!!!!!!!!!

You mean 3 uninterrupted years, right? You weren’t in Waterloo in S03.

Congrats on finishing your exams! It won’t be too long before you’re in the Big Apple. I hope that you don’t go too crazy over the next few days in preparation for the big move.

You’re right… it is 3 years. I’m in Math, right?
