Posted on November 5th, 2005I’ve been getting sick of the old site and, this morning around 2:00am, I decided to redo it. The layout is super simple, so it was done at around 3:00am. And then I woke up early this morning (which, for a Saturday, means 10:00am) and made Version 5 (v5) live. Yay for being a computer geek.

Just some comments on the new layout…
Some of you may be wondering what happened to the other sections (news, files, links, about the site). I figured that I would remove those in favour of simplicity and elegance.
The only real content on this site is the journal, and I think that I should tailor the layout accordingly. Most of the other sections are not viewed too often, and the content that they did have on there wasn’t overly interesting.
I suppose the the exception to this were the links that I had. In particular, I think the links to my friends’ pages are valuable. I will do some thinking and may try and restore that in the not-so-distant future.

PS I’m really loving how the links are actually visible now. I was on some pretty serious crack when I made them a similar colour in the old version!

Dude, I love the new look! It’s pretty sweet and much much better than the old one 🙂

Thanks 🙂 I was going through some of my pictures and I decided that it’d be cool to use some actual photos that I’ve taken as opposed to graphics that I’ve drawn.
But what are you saying about the old design? 😛

Just as a courtesy to commenters, I’ve removed their emails from being shown on the journal; I know how annoying spam is, so, I will do my part to reduce that 🙂
