Perfect
Posted on July 2nd, 2006All seems to be right recently. Despite working my butt off for weeks on end, the work has been paying some handsome dividends (some really handsome, some sorta handsome). This past week has been one of the busiest in recent memory; there were two assignments, two midterms, and a case study to be done.
It isn’t hard to imagine that I was really looking forward to the (long!) weekend; it would be a much-needed break from toiling ad nauseam. The weekend got off to an excellent start on Friday, when I was at John’s barbequing and starting the second season of 24! I need to finish up four more seasons before the fall, so I think I have my work cut out for me on that front.
The weekend went into high gear yesterday, when Bre came over to watch the soccer game (which went as I had hoped.. sorry to all England fans but, given the way they had been playing, they didn’t really deserve to win). Even though it ended up taking the longest possible time to finish, it was a wild ending and I’m glad to have stayed to watch it. We then hit up Elora Quarry to soak up some sun; I still have a farmer’s tan, but it’s starting to even out ๐ Fireworks were the story for the evening and it was a good show. I’d say last year’s was better; I was hoping for some constant ridiculousness in the sky for a finale but we can’t win ’em all.
And now, I just finished making the most perfect of eggs: boiled with a partly runny yolk. Mmmmm. I think they’re called medium-boiled eggs. But they are crazy-amazing delicious.
Life is good.

If she doesn’t object to your claim of ownership, then yes. Otherwise, no. ๐
