Who Needs A Title?

Posted on Thursday, December 21st, 2006

I am going absolutely crazy; I have been a wreck since Tuesday and things aren’t looking better for a while. Dammit all.

The Colours Just Weren’t Quite Right

Posted on Wednesday, December 20th, 2006

Two more days of work. By this time on Saturday, I’ll be back in Canada (again)! Hooray!

And also, not hooray. There is something really special about this place, and I’m definitely going to have to consider the option of coming back here in the summer. People at work frequently ask if I’ll be there for another internship and they always seem a little disappointed when I shrug for an answer. Don’t get me wrong, Bloomberg is a most excellent place to work… it’s just that I’m not sure if it’s right for next summer. Fortunately, I have some time to make this decision!

But, more importantly, hooray! I’m most certainly looking forward to being back in Ontario so that I can spend some time with friends and family. There promises to be good food, good times, and good memories! And next term shall be excellent; there will be BBQs, 24, and so many of the people that I have dearly missed for the past four months!! I can’t waiiiiiiit!!!!!!!

Jasmine’s Weirdness

Posted on Monday, December 11th, 2006

Jasmine asked me to write six weird things about myself. So, being the crowd (or person) pleaser as I am, here they are:

1. I love performing and hate performing all at the same time.
2. I really enjoy dressing up. Even though I may often complain about doing it, once I’m done I feel pretty good about it!
3. I used to be a really big history buff; it was probably my favourite course in OAC, and I am fascinated whenever I learn more about it. If it had more of an interesting career potential, I probably would have pursued it more seriously.
4. I have two windows for conversations on MSN or ICQ; one is labeled “Active” and the other is labeled “Away”, but neither really correspond to whether I am active or away when the window is opened.
5. I sometimes “rehearse” conversations in my head. But they really aren’t rehearsals because how they go in my head is usually not the way they go. I imagine that many people do this, but I think it’s weird. So yeah.
6. I loathe when people exit at the front of the bus.

Yep, I’m weird.
