Weddings Ahoy!
Posted on March 22nd, 2005It’s an absolutely stunning day: the sun is shining, the sky is almost blue, the temperature is holding above zero all afternoon, and I’m skipping class! Ha ha! I think that I’m really getting into my end-of-term I-don’t-care-about-school groove again (carried over from last spring).
Speaking of spring/summer, there’s more than just my class schedule that is making me look forward to it.. thankfully. Today, I checked the mail and I noticed a card in my box. At first, I was thinking, “Maybe it’s a card from Paul or something”, which then turned into, “Why the heck would Paul be sending me a card?”, and finally, “I should open the card to see who sent it.” My brain activity was on the ball I tell ya!
It turns out that it was an invitation to Meredith and Matt’s wedding thinger!! This came as almost a complete surprise because I was totally not expecting an invitation. The card itself is really pretty, and I had my share of “Aaaaaaawwww”s with Ashley, who also received an invite. Despite reading that there is a fairly lengthy dance component to the reception, I’m really excited to go!
Then, of course, is Jasmine’s wedding later on in the summer. I have to confess that I was also surprised when she said something along the lines of “Of course you’ll be there!” to me a few week ago. While our friendship has been on hyper-fast-forward for the past couple of months or so, it still didn’t occur to me that I would be at her wedding ceremony. So, if you’re reading this Jazz (which I’m sure that you will be within six hour of my posting this), thanks!! ๐ I am really looking forward to that, too! ๐
Summer is definitely the wedding season… I wonder when my turn will come up ๐ฎ

Hey Justin, I’m glad you’re looking forward to coming to my wedding, but may I remind you that you’re earning your place there. ๐ Just kidding, you’d be coming annyways. But thanks in advance for helping me out. You’re a good kid.
