So Close

In 12 hours, I will be sitting down for my last exam of the term. The completion of that exam will mark the end of Fall 2005, and the end of twelve consecutive months of school. More importantly, however, it is the beginning of my wonderful Christmas break, which will be spent doing amazing stuff with friends (Snowboarding in BC, Messiah, New Year’s) and eating delicious meals (roasts, lambs, and so much more)!

As is the case with the end of any term, there are those that won’t be around for a long time. This will be especially true come April, when most of the non-Coop students in my year graduate. But for now, two prominent names are sticking out in my mind: Laura and Ashley. My good sister (sorta) is heading to Bolivia to volunteer and A+ is taking a term up at Lakehead. I fear that this is a start to a very unfortunate trend of goodbyes… 🙁

Such is reality, though; all good things must come to an end, and being around such wonderful people is no different. I really hope that I’ll be able to keep in touch with all of those who will be leaving Waterloo in the near future.. I’ve been a little bad with those thave have already left, so I hope that turns around, too. Sigh.
