Hideously Organized

I can’t believed I used “hideously organized” in an interview. Despite it being a complete and utter paradox, couldn’t I have come up with something a bit less… weird? Ah well. The interviewers got a laugh out of it so at least it was worth that much.

My devotion to organization, however, is getting to me this week. Between midterms, assignments, interviews, and information sessions/receptions, and the book discussion, I have a very full plate and it’s been a pretty intense ride so far. I’ll get a brief reprieve from the craziness on Thursday, but things get going on the weekend again (as I have another packed week next week).

Cleanliness, related to organization, has also been a chore (pun intended!). Since I insist on not having dishes and junk lying around, I find myself cleaning a lot. I’ve been doing far more than my fair share of it, too. I think my patience (discussed in the previous post, is growing thin.

Fortunately, the smog and humidity has been more bearable today so my mood has not been soured because of the weather. And thank God for air conditioning.

Anyhow, I should probably get back to work; there’s so much to do for today! Have a good one!
